UP BTC 2021: Basic Training Certificate (BTC) is replaced by the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).Uttar Pradesh D.El.Ed Registration will be started in the month of May at the official web portal of www.upbasiceducationboard.in. Candidates who want to take admission in the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course can apply before the last date. UP BTC 2021 Application Form
State Council of Educational and Research Training of Uttar Pradesh SCERT conducts the UP D.El.Ed Admission process. SCERT provides Government Jobs on a Primary level by inviting all the candidates. Lots of qualified and dynamic students want Admission in 2 yrs of Basic training Certificate BTC course or in Diploma in Elementary Education. Both of these courses imparted by DIETs and District Resource Centres (DRCs) in Uttar Pradesh by UP D.El.Ed. Entrance Test will be organized by Lucknow college and other districts in Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility Criteria
- The age limit for applying candidates is 18 years to 30 years.
- There is also age relaxation according to the government rules and regulations for the reserved category candidates.
- Candidates must have a graduation degree from any recognized university or institute in any discipline with at least 50% marks in total.
Application Fee
- General and OBC Category’s Candidates is Rs.400
- ST and SC Category’s Candidates is Rs.200
- Physically Handicapped Candidates – No Fees
- Candidates can pay the application fees by the debit card, credit card or by net banking.

UP BTC 2021 Merit list
Selection purely basis on merit list. The merit list will be generated on the basis of 10+2+3 marks. Authority will issue the rank (district wise). Seat allotment will be done via counselling procedure. Marks statement information must be correct otherwise seat will be cancelled during document verification.
Steps to check Merit List
- Select the course and enter details such as Registration Number/ Roll Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on the button ‘Get Result’
Cutoff
Cut off is basically the minimum number of marks that a candidate has to score to clear the exam and for getting a selection. The factors on which the cut off depends are:
- Total no of vacancies for government and private college.
- No of candidates applied.
- Candidate’s participation percentage in class 10, class 12 and Graduation.

UP BTC 2021 Counselling
UP BTC Counselling 2021 will be organized by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board for candidates who participated in the Uttar Pradesh Basic Teacher Certificate exam. From this Year the UP BTC Counselling 2021 will be done through online mode. An online counselling will be organized for admission in 1,59,450 seats of Diploma in Elementary Education 2021-19 under various DIET and Private Colleges of Uttar Pradesh.
Required Documents during counseling:
- Passing certificates.
- Class X and XII certificates.
- Graduation mark sheet/ Degree.
- Domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
- Registration number and Slip.
- Recent Colour photographs.
- Payment receipt (if required).
- Caste/ PH certificates (if required)

- UP D.El.Ed Seats in DIET are 10500
- UP D.El.Ed Seats in Private Colleges are 71100

Fee Structure
- Total Seats are 50,450
- UP BTC seats in private colleges 40,000
- UP BTC total seats to be filled in Government colleges or Diet is 10,450
- If 181 new colleges will granted this to take admission then the extended seat 9050.
- Total seats will be then = 50,450 + 9050 = 59,500
- UP BTC new fees extended 4100 to 8000
- UP BTC fees in private colleges is 41000
Scholarship
- For Both Male & Female candidates who have low income than every college in BTC Affiliation will give form BTC Scholarship.
- If the scholarship provided you don’t have to pay any fees.
- In Government College, BTC fees is 10,000 to 15,000
- In Private college 40,000 to 50,000 for 1 year
